Please don’t use the term “chick” flicks (I feel like my intelligence is being questioned)

I am not a fan of these “chick” flicks… nor of the term that basically refers to a genre of movies primarily aimed for women. It’s a discriminatory term, that’s for sure. I don’t even know if I should be offended by the content in these movies, which are supposed to appeal to me as a woman (a.k.a. romantic comedies). I feel like my intelligence is being questioned.
